Urban Combat Zone | Speedball

  • Fast paced Action Game Format
  • Multi room Buildings
  • Plenty of Barricades

The fast paced action packed game of Speedball is a variation of paintball on a smaller field. On the Urban Combat Zone the action starts as soon as the game begins with teams starting the game much closer together. The Speedball field at Paintball Samford has multi-roomed buildings, making it a game more teamwork and coordination in the midst of the action. There no room for stealth here in this style of play, it’s hardcore wall to wall action. The objective on the Urban Combat Zone is for teams to gain control of the flag stations lining the road at the field’s half way line. This game rounds out the day’s session and is a great way for players to squeeze in a series of short fast paced games.

The Fort: 189 square meter multi level paintball fort!

Paintball Samford’s legendary Fortress is a commanding presence on the battlefield.  A massive purpose built structure, the only one of its kind in Australia, never fails to live up to its legendary reputation. This Fortress with its three levels of fighting platforms has to be seen to be believed, the photos don’t do it justice!

The Fortress is a professionally built specifically for paintballing action, consists of 6 high towers with access ramps that feed the players up to the different defensive levels. The Fortress’ high walls and domineering towers are linked by gangways to protect the surrounding area. A network of trenches and outer bunkers surround the Fortress making it a truly formidable structure.

With the fortress’s elaborate outer defences, trenches, pill boxes and bunkers that challenge teams. Games that can be played on this exciting field are many and varied and limited only to our imagination making sure that Paintballers never tire of the action and excitement of the Fort Fight.

Lots of fields claim to have a fort but here at Paintball Samford we have “THE FORTRESS”.

The Bridges Assault Field

  • Bridge Assault is a Wilderness combat zone
  • 60 metre fortified dam wall
  • 4 Assault Bridges
  • Real world Military hardware
  • Strong fortified positions

You won’t believe your eyes when you see the Bridge Assault field in action. You’ll have such a great time you’ll need a steel brush to wipe the smile off your face.

Each side of this field is separated by the large dam water in the centre of the field. You can take the short route and launch a direct assault across the dam wall. The action is frantic with the front see-sawing from side to side as you vie for control of the dam wall objectives. Don’t ignore the longer route around the top of the dam. With 3 objectives and multiple bridges this part of the field is crucial for players to exploit in order to win the game. Fortune favours the bold on this field, choose your route and find yourself in the middle of the action no matter where you look.

Demolition Alley

  • 46 metres of tunnels
  • Extensive trench system
  • Entombed car bodies
  • The Great Wall
  • The Supply Dump
  • And a whole lot of action, special effects and fun

With its many trenches and tunnels, our Demolition Alley field is always a field where there is a lot of paintball action. This classic game of attack and defence is a player favourite. The Supply Depot’s strong defensive position is manned by the defending team on top of the hill. From the tunnels below, the attacking team comes out of one of three covered entrances where the defenders can’t see them. Before time runs out, they have to make their way up the trenches to the detonators and set them off to blow up the supply dump.

This is a fun game full of action and surprises that ends with a big bang.
